Being close to Jomtien Beach means it's easy to get to some excellent restaurants. Many of these are sea food restaurants but it's not difficult to find western food including steaks or past.

Also along Jomtien beach, there are plenty of places to have a drink and relax away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya, but if Pattaya is where you want to be, then it's just a ten minute drive in one of the omnipresent Songtaews which are red mini vans which you can wave down and get in the back. These Songtaews run almost all the time and there is a fixed fee during the day. In the evenings, you might have to bargain a price to get into and back from Pattaya.
